Corporate social responsibility does not focus on the company itself, but on other sections of society. In this way, we wish to play an active role in the region as a company and make a significant contribution to overcoming social barriers.

We support projects against child poverty

Kaffee Partner for Kids

Children are at the heart of our fundraising campaigns.

We are aware that an increasing number of children in Germany are affected by poverty. In Osnabrück, where our head office is based, 23.8 per cent of children live below the poverty line. That is why we have launched the ‘Kaffee Partner for Kids’ initiative. Through various fundraising activities, we raise donations to support organisations such as the Osnabrück Kindertafel and the children’s meal scheme run by the Catholic Family Education Centre. Both organisations look after children and families in the region who are living below the poverty line.

Donations of clothes and other items

Every year, our trainees collect donations of clothing and other items from Kaffee Partner staff. This is done in close collaboration with the Osnabrück homeless charity ‘Wärmestube’ and the Osnabrück ‘Kindertafel’. Following consultation with both organisations, the items most urgently needed are collected. Donations include, for example, clothing, as well as toys and school supplies. In this way, items that might otherwise just be lying around find their way to those who need them. It’s a small contribution, but one that can make a big difference.

Free fully automatic coffee machine for the food bank

Kaffee Partner is expanding its social commitment to the Osnabrück Kindertafel, which we already support annually with a St Nicholas’ Day donation. In response to growing demand, Kaffee Partner is providing the Kindertafel with a multiBona3 fully automatic coffee machine free of charge, including servicing and products. This new machine replaces the model we previously provided, as the increasing number of people required a more powerful solution. This means that all volunteers and visitors can continue to enjoy free coffee, speciality coffees and tea. Kaffee Partner would like to thank everyone involved in this important work.

Osnabrück Kindertafel

We support the Osnabrück Kindertafel, which provides over 400 (school-age) children at 19 centres in the city and district of Osnabrück with breakfast bread, muesli, fresh fruit and much more. No child should have to go to school hungry. Children and their families are also supported in their everyday school life through donations in kind.

Children’s meals & children’s education

We support the children’s meals and educational programmes run by the Catholic Family Education Centre in Osnabrück, which provides children living in Osnabrück on a low income with a freshly cooked, nutritious and healthy lunch. We also support early learning opportunities for children who would otherwise be unable to afford such programmes.
