Cashless payments using a prepaid card

The prepaid card and its associated module constitute a contactless and cashless payment system for refilling fully automatic coffee machines, known as Drink-Key. Users can use a radio transmitter in the form of a key chip or a top-up card to pay for their speciality drinks contactlessly. The transmitters hold a credit balance which can be topped up using various methods. The Drink-Key system is particularly suitable for companies wishing to offer their staff and guests a quick and hassle-free coffee experience.

Digital payments via card terminal

With our Cashless Pay system, cashless payments are quicker and easier than ever before. The card terminal allows payments to be made at Kaffee Partner fully automatic coffee machines using all major debit and credit cards, as well as via smartphone. Businesses and catering establishments can thus offer their customers and staff a user-friendly and straightforward payment method. Thanks to Cashless Pay, nobody needs to rely on coins or drink tokens to buy a delicious coffee speciality.

For businesses with our fully automatic coffee machines, Cashless Pay helps boost turnover through impulse purchases. It is not uncommon for a lack of coins and outdated payment methods to prevent users from buying a fresh hot drink when the mood takes them. Furthermore, thanks to contactless technology, the payment process using a smartphone or card is quicker and more convenient than with traditional payment methods. Finally, Cashless Pay minimises cash holdings, the need to handle cash, the risk of counterfeit money and the risk of vandalism.

Coin slot without change-giving function

Each of our fully automatic coffee machines can be fitted with a coin module as a payment method. This enables customers to purchase speciality drinks using coins or tokens (for over-the-counter sales). Coin modules are suitable both for recouping costs and for the profit-oriented resale of speciality coffees. The module can also be combined with the Drink-Key.

Fully automatic coffee machines with a coin slot (without a change-giving function) provide businesses with a secure source of income, which can be used to cover the hire and running costs of the machines. These machines can also be installed with complete peace of mind in the hospitality sector or commercial premises. Coin slot with change-giving function

The coin-acceptance module for the coffee machine is also available with an additional change dispenser. This features an additional coin return function and therefore dispenses change. Tokens are issued according to their pre-defined value. The system is equally suitable for resellers and for refinancing.

Coin modules with a change function can also be combined with the Drink-Key module. The advantages of the coin module with change function are the same as those of the module without a change function. In addition, users benefit from the flexible change return and do not need to worry about having the exact amount of small change.

Digital payments via an app

With the PAY WITH ME app, we offer a digital payment service that doesn’t require a card terminal. No additional module is needed. The QR code for payment is displayed directly on the screen and, once scanned, redirects the user to the app. All standard payment methods are available in the PAY WITH ME app. Simply download the app and, with no prior registration required, the payment process is quick and easy. This allows customers or staff to pay using their smartphone without the hassle of searching for change. PAY WITH ME offers you the following benefits:

Set prices and discounts for coffee drinks

The drink prices for cup and mug portions can be customised. They are set by the machine operator and adjusted accordingly by our service technicians. The operator has full control over costs and can set prices as they see fit. Discounts or ‘free drinks’ for specific user groups are also possible, as is the option to pay once for several drinks at the same time.
Every configuration can be tailored specifically to the customer’s requirements. The Drink-Key can also be combined with a coin-operated module. Payment systems are usually integrated into fully automatic coffee machines at the factory. Retrofitting is only possible in some cases – depending on the coffee machine and payment method.
